Soft Tissue

Pin and stretch muscle therapy is a manual therapy approach used to treat soft tissue injuries and muscle tightness. During a session, the therapist applies pressure to a specific area of muscle while the patient actively moves the muscle through its full range of motion. This process helps to break up adhesions and scar tissue, improve blood flow to the area, and restore normal muscle function. Pin and stretch therapy is often used to treat conditions such as muscle strains, tendonitis, and overuse injuries, and can help improve flexibility, range of motion, and overall muscle performance. This is a popular technique used with the world's top athletes to allow for optimal performance. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with pin and stretch myofascial release. During a soft tissue therapy session, Dr. Olsen utilizes various techniques such as massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of discomfort or dysfunction. By applying pressure and stretching techniques, they work to break down adhesions, release tension, and restore proper movement patterns. Soft tissue therapy is often used in conjunction with chiropractic adjustments to optimize the effectiveness of treatment and promote healing. Patients may experience immediate relief as well as improved mobility and flexibility over time with regular soft tissue therapy sessions.
